Description

Millesulmare brings together Grecanico Dorato and the Casa Decima vineyard in Contrada Nave, approximately 1,100 metres up Etna’s northwestern slope. The vineyard grew from a lengthy mass selection of old local vines and exists alongside woodland, orchards and spontaneous vegetation. Strong differences between daytime and night-time temperatures, together with soils shaped by lava flows, define this mountain viticulture. Its name connects altitude with the sea’s place in Sicilian identity. This varietal white has a pronounced mineral and savoury character, conceived to preserve the personality of both the grape and its surroundings.
