Description

São Pedro das Águias LBV 2011 is a Rozès Port from the demarcated Douro region. Its colour is deep ruby, and the aromatic profile combines fully ripe red fruit with notes of wild vegetation, particularly rockrose. The palate shows volume, a firm but soft structure and integrated tannins. The balance between substance and fruit defines its expression. It can accompany strongly flavoured cheeses, dark chocolate cake or red-fruit ice cream; serving between fourteen and sixteen degrees allows its aromatic profile to unfold alongside the texture and fruit character of the wine.
