Scarpa’s “Podere Barberis” Barbaresco is a red wine from the Barbaresco DOCG in Piedmont. The 1974 vintage is made from Nebbiolo and shows complex, evolved aromas of red fruit and tertiary notes such as tar and licorice, with a persistent tannic backbone. This is a historic Scarpa bottling.
