Description

The Scarzello Barolo Sarmassa Vigna Merenda 2022 is a red Barolo made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Sarmassa cru of the commune of Barolo, Piedmont. Sourced from the 'Vigna Merenda' vineyard, the wine is vinified with extended maceration and matured in large oak casks for a minimum of 18 months, followed by further bottle ageing. It is a terroir-driven Nebbiolo showing firm tannic structure and the aromatic complexity typical of Barolo.
