Description

Blumeri, also presented today by Schiopetto as Podere dei Blumeri, is a Venezia Giulia IGT red combining Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. The vineyard project began in 2000 after a study of the estate’s soils and microclimate, with the first vintage following in 2001. In the winery’s general description, a ruby colour introduces currant and sour cherry, followed by balsamic and tobacco notes. The palate combines intensity and fine tannins with freshness and softness, leading to a long finish that completes the wine’s profile.
