Description

Sette’s Nizza comes from Bricco di Nizza, the hillside where Gino Della Porta and Gian Luca Colombo established their project. Barbera is drawn from old vines on marl, limestone and sandstone soils. Organic cultivation and a close response to each vintage guide the work rather than a fixed cellar recipe. Maceration aims for gentle extraction, including the use of a submerged cap, while maturation involves large vessels and concrete. This is a Barbera conceived for depth and detail, with a measured structure and savoury character that retain an approachable, inviting quality.
