Description

Les Leçons des Maîtres is Shared Notes' tribute to the Bordeaux tradition of blending Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Its name, meaning lessons of the masters, makes the stylistic reference explicit. The project brings together Bibiana González Rave and Jeff Pisoni, who made their first joint vintage in 2012. Their work carries this French inspiration into Sonoma's Russian River Valley, exploring the relationship between the two varieties. The wine's identity lies in that combination and in the couple's shared attention to place, extending beyond the aromatic expression of Sauvignon Blanc alone.
