Les Pierres Qui Décident explores Sauvignon Blanc through a Loire-inspired approach within the Californian Shared Notes project. Its name refers to the rocks that decide, emphasising the importance assigned to place. Bibiana González Rave and Jeff Pisoni describe this cuvée as the more Sancerre-like of their two white wines. In the Russian River Valley they found cool conditions suited to steady ripening of the grape. Their aim is clarity of expression and a close connection to terroir, with work centred on the particular character of Sauvignon Blanc and careful attention to detail.
