Description

Made by Simon Bize & Fils, this wine is a Savigny‑lès‑Beaune Premier Cru labeled 'Aux Vergelesses' in its red expression. It is produced from Pinot Noir grown on a very steep slope with sandy-marl and limestone soils; the vineyard plantings date from 1939 to 1954. Wines from this climat typically show solid structure and aromatic depth and usually benefit from a few years of aging.
