Description

Feyles Barbaresco Riserva is made from Nebbiolo grown in the southwest-facing Montesommo vineyard in Neive. Traditional winemaking combines spontaneous yeasts, extended maceration and fermentation in stainless steel, followed by maturation in Slavonian oak casks and a further period in bottle. It is neither fined nor filtered, so a natural deposit can accompany its development. The estate describes faded violet and tobacco aromas, with plum, walnut husk and small berries on the palate. A full structure is expressed harmoniously, reflecting a patient approach to ageing and the character of this specific Neive vineyard.
