Description

Sottimano Barbaresco Fausoni is a Barbaresco DOCG from Neive made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Fausoni cru. The bouquet shows red-berry aromas with balsamic and menthol notes, while the palate is supported by firm tannins and a savory finish. Vinification includes spontaneous fermentation, extended maceration on the skins, completion of malolactic fermentation in wood and subsequent bottle ageing that helps the wine reach full expression.
