Description

The 2021 Cask 23 Cabernet Sauvignon from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is a Napa Valley red made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, primarily from the S.L.V. and FAY vineyards. The bouquet shows concentrated dark fruit—blackcurrant and black cherry—alongside tobacco, spice and floral violet notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, with refined tannins, balanced acidity and a persistent finish with dark-chocolate and anise nuances; the wine spent 21 months in new French oak.
