Description

The Cortona Syrah “Apice” 2022 from Stefano Amerighi is a red wine from the Cortona denomination made only in vintages judged exceptional, using Syrah fruit harvested from the higher parcels at Poggiobello di Farneta. The wine is produced under organic/biodynamic practices and this cuvée is reported to be aged in terracotta/ceramic vessels. With concentrated structure and alcohol, it pairs well with red meats and game; output is limited and the bottling represents a select expression of the vintage.
