Description

Aria 2018 is one of the Sangiovese interpretations created at Stella di Campalto's San Giuseppe estate, near Castelnuovo dell'Abate. Vineyards, woods and olive trees surround an approach combining organic and biodynamic farming with restrained cellar work. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in wooden vats; for this vintage, the producer records thirty-four months in wood and at least forty-two months in bottle. The importer highlights an ethereal expression, fitting the name Aria. Extended rest is therefore an essential part of this Brunello's creation, allowing the wine to develop before it is released to the public.
