Description

Bosco 2018 is Stella di Campalto's Brunello from a south-facing parcel on the lower part of the estate hillside, near Castelnuovo dell'Abate. Its name refers to the woodland surrounding the vines and contributing to the property's natural balance. Made entirely from Sangiovese, it is hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in wooden vats. The importer describes an earthy impression recalling the forest landscape. Extended maturation in wood and bottle completes this closely defined expression of place, one of the different wines Stella has chosen to present as individual bottlings.
