Description

Corso 2019 brings together Sangiovese from Stella di Campalto's San Giuseppe, Bassa and Leccio parcels, each occupying a different position on the estate hillside. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in wooden vats, following separate handling of the vineyards. Their combination forms one of the expressions chosen to tell the vintage's story, rather than imposing an identical recipe every year. For Corso 2019, the producer records thirty-four months in wood and at least twenty-one months in bottle. It belongs to the fresh, lively interpretation Stella associates with this harvest.
