Description

La Servil is a red wine from Fuente-Álamo that places old ungrafted vines and the limestone soils of Jumilla's highlands at the centre of its identity. Monastrell is accompanied by other traditional varieties found in the vineyards, reflecting a heritage that Bodega Cerrón seeks to preserve. The name recalls the grandfather's expression for grapes from this site, regarded as particularly amenable in the cellar. Calcareous sand and gravel help define their origin. The winery describes freshness and fluidity alongside an earthy, saline tannic texture and a measured sense of austerity.
