Description

Aux Murgers is one of Sylvain Cathiard's key holdings in Nuits-Saint-Georges, with Pinot Noir vines planted in 1945 and 1960. This heritage of old plantings is supported by sustainable and organic vineyard practices. In the cellar, the grapes are destemmed, cold-macerated and fermented with indigenous yeasts, followed by maturation in oak barrels. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration. This Premier Cru offers a view of the family's work beyond Vosne-Romanée, keeping the relationship between a specific parcel, its fruit and the winemaking process at the centre of its identity.
