En Orveaux belongs to the group of Premier Crus through which Sylvain Cathiard explores the different identities of Vosne-Romanée. The holding comprises a small Pinot Noir parcel planted in 1953 and farmed with sustainable and organic practices. The grapes are completely destemmed and cold-macerated before fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Maturation takes place in oak, and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration. This cuvée is defined by its connection to an established vineyard and by the way the family's work accompanies that particular origin from the vines into the bottle.
