Szepsy’s 2016 Szent Tamás Furmint is a dry white from the vineyard of the same name in eastern Mád, Tokaj. The hillside contains layers of red clay, zeolite and rhyolite that reflect its volcanic history. The wine’s profile combines a fruity expression with nuances of pollen and peach, accompanied by a discreet contribution from oak. Its structure is supported by marked acidity, retaining a balance between substance and freshness. This cuvée links Furmint with a specific place of origin and can accompany sea fish, shellfish and creamy preparations.
