Les Folies de la Marquetterie takes its name from the historic setting that connects this cuvée with Taittinger’s origins. The château, surrounded by vines since the eighteenth century, provides the inspiration for an estate Champagne. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir form the blend, with a portion of the wines vinified in large oak vessels. The house describes a golden colour and fine bubbles, followed by yellow-peach aromas and woody nuances. This is a rich, precise interpretation of place, bringing fruit and the contribution of oak together within the cuvée’s distinctive character.
