Description

The 2021 Etna Rosso San Lorenzo from Tenuta delle Terre Nere is a red made entirely from Nerello mascalese grown in the San Lorenzo cru in the municipality of Randazzo on Etna’s northern slope. High-altitude vineyards (around 800–900 m) planted on volcanic soils rich in ash and stones give the wine finesse and a pronounced mineral character. Fermentation is temperature-controlled and the wine is aged for about 14 months in French oak barriques and tonneaux. It shows structured body with vibrant acidity and pairs well with meat dishes and aged cheeses.
