Description

The 2023 Il Musmeci Etna Bianco Superiore from Tenuta di Fessina is a high-altitude white produced on Mount Etna’s eastern slope near Milo, made from 100% Carricante. The grapes come from centennial alberello vines around 950 m above sea level; the wine is matured in stainless steel with periods in wood before bottling. Aromas of aromatic herbs, lemon thyme, wax and citrus are typical, while the palate shows verticality, pronounced salinity and lasting persistence.
