Description

Cont'Ugo 2024 is a Bolgheri DOC Rosso produced by Marchesi Antinori at the Tenuta Guado al Tasso estate. It is a single-variety wine made exclusively from Merlot grapes grown on clay-loam (limoso-argilloso) soils at about 45–60 m above sea level. Vinification includes fermentation in stainless-steel tanks with roughly 20 days of maceration, followed by about 12 months of ageing in second-fill barriques. The nose shows ripe cherry, spicy and herbal notes, while the palate offers soft tannins, good structure and balanced fruit persistence.
