Tenuta Scerscé’s "Infinito" Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG is a red wine made from Nebbiolo (locally Chiavennasca) grown on the steep terraced vineyards of Valtellina. The grapes are partially dried on racks until early December before fermentation, and the wine receives extended ageing in tonneaux. The wine shows concentrated dark-fruit and stewed-fruit aromas with spicy and floral hints, a structured palate and long persistence, suitable with red meats and mature cheeses.
