Description

Oreno is the red created in 1999 from Antonio Moretti Cuseri’s enthusiasm for Bordeaux-inspired wines. Its name comes from the stream crossing Tenuta Sette Ponti, in the clay-rich area where Merlot grows. Cabernet Sauvignon finds its place in stonier, freely draining soils. Grape selection and maturation in French oak barriques accompany the work of blending. The project brings international varieties into a relationship with the Tuscan landscape, seeking a combination of richness, structure and dynamism that retains a clear connection with the estate from which it comes.
