Description
Tenute Lunelli’s Montefalco Sagrantino Carapace Lunga Attesa 2018 is a 100% Sagrantino from the Carapace estate in Montefalco. Grapes from a single, roughly 30-year-old vineyard (Vigna al Pozzo) are vinified in three different vessels (stainless steel, large wooden vats and terracotta) and then blended. The wine is matured in large oak casks for at least three years followed by extended ageing, showing blackberry and plum aromas with spicy and tobacco notes on a full-bodied, structured palate.
