Description

Tenute Silvio Nardi’s Brunello di Montalcino Poggio Doria is a single‑vineyard cru made from Sangiovese grown on the north‑west slopes of Montalcino. The wine undergoes extended maceration and is aged first in French oak tonneaux, then in large Slavonian casks, followed by bottle aging. On the palate it is concentrated and structured, with present yet refined tannins and aromas of red fruit, spice and mineral hints. It benefits from bottle time to further develop its complexity.
