Description

Tenute Silvio Nardi’s Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Poggio Doria 2012 is a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG made from Sangiovese grapes grown in the Poggio Doria single vineyard in the north‑west area of Montalcino. Aromas show layered red fruit, spice and subtle balsamic notes, while the palate is structured, tannic and long‑lasting. Winemaking includes extended maceration and maturation in wood followed by additional bottle ageing, which together produce a concentrated, well‑balanced wine. The Riserva bottlings are released only in vintages judged suitable for extended ageing.
