Description

The Hilt’s 2019 Vanguard Chardonnay is a white wine from Santa Barbara County in California. The cuvée is assembled from a barrel selection aimed at a rich, enveloping style. Maturation comprises eleven months in French oak, mostly new, followed by five months in stainless steel. The aromatic profile brings together peach, apricot, Meyer lemon and notes of brioche and baking spices, with stony and almond nuances. The palate offers a rounded texture and concentrated yellow stone fruit, supported by lively acidity that keeps the finish clearly defined and focused.
