The Mercurey Les Chenaults 2020 from Domaine Theulot‑Juillot is a Burgundy white made from Chardonnay grown in the Les Chenaults lieu‑dit on south‑facing limestone‑clay soils. Vinification includes whole‑cluster pressing, controlled‑temperature fermentation with roughly 75% in tanks and 25% in barrels (about 20% new wood), followed by around 12 months of ageing before bottling. Aromatically it combines mineral clarity and purity with notes of exotic and white‑fleshed fruit; the palate is structured, balanced between freshness and softness, and typically develops over a 3–5 year window.
