The Saint-Véran Champ Rond 2018 from Thibert Père et Fils is a Chardonnay from the Saint-Véran appellation, grown on limestone-rich soils near Leynes. Aromas of white fruit and citrus are framed by a clear mineral thread, while the palate is focused and well-structured. The wine underwent extended élevage (around 20 months), with a portion aged in French oak for several months, adding texture without overwhelming the freshness.
