Description

The Franc de Pied from Domaine des Roches Neuves (Thierry Germain) is a Saumur‑Champigny made from Cabernet Franc. It is sourced from very high‑density plantings on sandy/turonian soils; winemaking involves controlled maceration and occasionally whole‑cluster fermentation depending on the vintage. The wine shows a ruby colour, aromas of red berries and floral notes, and a crisp, fresh palate with good depth. It pairs well with red meat, tartare and game.
