Trebbiano “Fonte Canale”

Information

Description

Fonte Canale comes from a small vineyard of old Trebbiano Abruzzese in Cugnoli, trained on pergolas over clay-limestone soil with sand beneath. Massal selection preserves the identity of the vine material, a central concern in Tiberio's work. Only juice obtained through static draining is used, without pressing; spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel and malolactic fermentation is avoided. The wine is neither fined nor filtered, continuing its maturation in steel and bottle. The estate highlights a dense tactile structure, harmonious freshness and a particularly long finish, expressing the individual vineyard through a restrained cellar approach.
