Description

The Vigna Rachtl Sauvignon Riserva 2021 from Tiefenbrunner is a white wine labelled Alto Adige DOC, produced from 100% Sauvignon (Sauvignon Blanc) grapes from the Rachtl single vineyard. The sites lie around 590–630 m above sea level on silty-sandy soils with porphyry, which lends a mineral character and bright acidity to the wine. Fermentation and partial ageing occur in wood (25% in tonneau, 75% in large casks), followed by clarification in stainless steel and bottle ageing, yielding an evenly structured wine with a long finish.
