Description

A red wine from the Yarra Valley made by Timo Mayer, produced from Syrah grapes. It offers intense, spicy aromatics with red fruit, savory herb notes and a cool-climate mineral edge. Fermentation commonly employs whole-bunch techniques and the wine is matured in French oak barrels for about eleven months, adding structure and polished tannins. Medium-bodied and balanced between fresh acidity and firm tannin, it pairs well with roasted meats and hearty dishes.
