Description

The 2022 Arbois Poulsard “Amphore” from Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot is a red wine from the Arbois appellation made from the native Poulsard grape grown in the Jura. Fermentation and ageing take place in clay amphorae, which emphasize a fine texture, mineral bite and aromas of red berries and gentle spice. It shows a pale ruby colour, lively acidity and soft tannins; best enjoyed in its early years or after limited short-term ageing. The domaine farms biodynamically and this amphora cuvée is sometimes released in sulfur-free bottlings.
