Tissot’s Château‑Chalon is a white vin jaune from the small Château‑Chalon AOC in the Jura. Made solely from the Savagnin grape, it undergoes extended barrel aging under a yeast veil that gives the wine its oxidative character. Aromas and flavours typically include dried fruit, walnuts, spice and a distinct saline note; with proper cellaring it has substantial ageing potential.
