Description

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico “Vigneto Alto” is a red wine from Tommaso Bussola produced in San Peretto (Negrar) within the Valpolicella Classica area. The blend consists of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, with grapes dried naturally for about four months before fermentation. The wine undergoes extended aging in wood—including time in new barriques followed by further maturation in large barrels—and additional bottle aging prior to release. Production is small (a few thousand bottles per vintage), resulting in a concentrated, long-aging expression of the vineyard.
