Description
L'Errante (2017) by Tommaso Bussola is a red wine from the hills near Negrar di Valpolicella in the Veneto. It is a blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, made from grapes that undergo roughly three months of natural drying. The wine undergoes extended aging in wood — about 64 months in total, including 40 months in new barriques and 24 months in large casks — and is bottled after approximately five years. Annual production is limited to around 3,000 bottles.
