Description
Don PX Excelso is a Toro Albalá selection dedicated to the people who have worked in the cellar through successive generations. Pedro Ximénez and prolonged maturation define its character, rooted in the sweet-wine tradition of Montilla-Moriles. The colour is extremely dark and dense; aromas suggest toast, tobacco, coffee and spices, while dried fruit remains in the background. The palate has a silky texture and a balance between sweetness, acidity and a bitter nuance on the finish. Served slightly cool, it accompanies dark chocolate and blue cheeses or can be tasted alone.
