Description
Toro Albalá’s Eléctrico Solera 5 Años is a Montilla-Moriles fino made entirely from Pedro Ximénez. Its name recalls the former power station housing the winery and local jokes about electric wine. Biological maturation takes place beneath a flor veil in the criaderas and solera system, for a stated period of five years; its alcohol comes naturally from fermentation. The straw colour accompanies almond, toast and bread notes. The palate is dry, fresh and saline, with slight bitterness on the finish, suited to tapas, seafood and Iberian cured meats.
