Description
Toro Albalá’s Miut Quejigal is a Pedro Ximénez white associated with Cerro Macho in the Sierra de Montilla. The vineyard rests on clay-limestone ground with abundant bedrock, locally known as tosca cerrada. Cultivation involves shallow soil work and manual pruning of the bush-trained vines, alongside canopy work intended to maintain their balance. Terracotta amphorae and French oak are part of the cellar process. The cuvée belongs to the estate’s exploration of individual Montilla-Moriles sites through Pedro Ximénez, centring on the relationship between soil, vineyard and white wine.
