Description

Clos Sainte Hune comes from a 1.67-hectare vineyard in Hunawihr, within Rosacker, which has belonged to the Trimbach family for more than two centuries. Planted entirely to Riesling, the site faces south and southeast and has deep, limestone-rich soils. Its cool, dry microclimate encourages slow ripening. Made as a dry wine, Clos Sainte Hune is characterised by the house in terms of concentration, energy and pronounced minerality. Length and the ability to develop with age are central to its identity, rooted in the relationship between grape and place.
