Description

Morgan Truchetet Gevrey-Chambertin comes from Pinot Noir in the Les Seuvrées lieu-dit on clay-limestone soils. Grapes are purchased on the vine, with the producer managing the harvest date, picking and winemaking directly. Hand harvesting is followed by two stages of sorting, destemming and cold maceration. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts; malolactic fermentation and maturation take place in barrels, with handling by gravity. The wine has a fruity character and a fleshy, structured palate, accompanied by soft tannins that define its texture.
