Blaue Libelle is Andreas and Elisabeth Tscheppe's Sauvignon Blanc, one of the labels that reflects the biodiversity of their vineyards in southern Styria. The blue dragonfly belongs to the series of animals chosen to represent the different wines and the life surrounding the vines. The estate's soils are rich in limestone, clay and silt, forming the local material known as opok. Careful cultivation and manual work underpin an approach attentive to vineyard balance. In the cellar, Sauvignon ferments with naturally occurring grape yeasts and matures slowly in oak barrels.
