Description

Ugo Lequio’s Barbaresco Gallina Riserva 2019 is a red Barbaresco DOCG made from Nebbiolo grapes grown on the Gallina cru in Neive. Fermented in stainless steel with extended maceration and matured for an extended period in Slavonian and French oak casks followed by bottle ageing, it shows complex aromas of rose, liquorice, pepper and leather with a firm, well-balanced structure. Suitable for further ageing, it pairs well with braised meats, rich stews and aged cheeses.
