Description

Val di Suga’s 2020 Brunello di Montalcino Poggio al Granchio is a single‑vineyard Brunello from the south‑eastern slopes of Montalcino. Made from Sangiovese, it undergoes around 24 months of aging in large (60 hl) oak casks, followed by time in cement and further bottle aging. Aromas show red and dark fruit (cherry, currant, blackberry) with hints of myrtle and peach leaf and a saline, mineral finish. It delivers a dense, structured expression that reflects the Poggio al Granchio terroir.
