Val di Suga’s Vigna del Lago Brunello di Montalcino is a terroir-driven red made from Sangiovese grown on the northeastern slope of Montalcino. It shows a light ruby color with aromas of cherry, bitter orange peel, ginger and dried flowers. The wine is matured about 24 months in 40‑hl Slavonian oak casks, then 6 months in concrete and a further period in bottle. It is an elegant Brunello with silky tannins and notable aging potential.
