Description

Valentin Cadel's Les Combins is a red Mercurey Premier Cru made from Pinot Noir. It belongs to the small range produced from purchased grapes, alongside work at the La Tour Saint-Hilaire property near Fontaines. The cuvée's profile highlights delicate red fruit and a mineral impression. The Cadel family acquired the estate with Luc in 2014; Valentin subsequently continued the project, completing winegrowing studies in Beaune in 2021. This Mercurey broadens the young producer's interpretation of the Côte Chalonnaise beyond the property's historic vineyard.
